In light of the developing COVID-19 crisis RDAQ 2020 has been cancelled. The good news is we have secured a date for the 2021 RDAQ Conference which will be held at the same venue (RACV Royal Pines Resort Gold Coast) on 24-26 June 2021.We understand what a disappointment this will be for you and regret the inconvenience caused.
The RDAQ executive and management are acutely aware of the importance of the annual conference in terms of professional development and peer support within our community.Delegates and sponsors please contact the conference team if you have not received an update on your registration and booking.
We are exploring options to offer a one-day virtual program. Please hold Saturday 6 June and we will have more information available in the next 14 days. We understand connecting with colleagues over the months ahead will be important. We will put our best efforts towards facilitating this to happen.
RDAQ will incur some costs that are not recoverable. We set up a contingency fund in recent years to ensure we survive this type of disruption, so the future of the organisation remains viable despite the loss of income for 2020.
We will continue to communicate with delegates and members over the upcoming weeks about the impact of cancellation, including on the AGM and changeover of office bearers.
RDAQ remains committed to supporting our members, particularly at this time of high stress and compounding workloads.
All of us at RDAQ wish you, your families and colleagues the very best.
