Subsidise-a-student

We invite medical delegates to support our subsidise-a-student program.

RDAQ is committed to growing the rural medical workforce of the future. RDAQ2025 is a unique opportunity for rural doctors to encourage medical students to establish networks and connections with rural doctors.

Your subsidy directly reduces the cost for students to attend RDAQ2025. RDAQ manages this program in collaboration with the four student rural health clubs in Queensland.

Each medical delegate who nominates to subsidise-a-student is invited to attend the student networking afternoon tea as a rural ambassador. We encourage ambassadors to share their experience and passion for rural medicine with the students.

“RDAQ conference is so important for students to be able to see that rural practice is not just about the job, it’s also about the people and the collegiality that exists in this profession as well as to see the career progression they can achieve in rural medicine.”
