The annual Queensland Rural and Remote Clinical Network Annual Forum will be held in Herston, Brisbane and focus on the theme ‘Initial contact: gateway to negotiating the healthcare system‘.
This year’s forum will showcase care coordination, collaboration and partnerships between rural primary healthcare and hospital environments, centred on the consumer perspective. The QRRCN Annual Forum will highlight the importance of collaboration in ensuring best outcomes for consumers, improving overall health systems, and optimising the use of resources. These partnerships help bridge the gap between community-based primary care and hospital-based care in rural communities, improving patient experience and health outcomes, and enabling a more sustainable healthcare system.
