Student Initiatives

Currently in Queensland there are four student Rural Health Clubs that have been created to provide their student members with exposure to rural, remote, and indigenous health awareness and practice.

These clubs are operated by students and are made up of members from both rural and regional areas that are committed to promoting and improving health-care in rural, remote, and indigenous communities throughout Queensland.

The RDAQ conference offers the opportunity for medical students to learn more about the healthcare sector and gain valuable exposure to both clinical and political aspects of rural health. It is also a great opportunity for networking with future colleagues.
