Student Initiatives
Currently in Queensland there are four student Rural Health Clubs who support medical students with experiences in rural, remote, and indigenous health.
These clubs are operated by students and are made up of members from both rural and regional areas that are committed to promoting and improving healthcare in rural, remote, and indigenous communities throughout Queensland.
The RDAQ conference offers the opportunity for medical students to learn more about the healthcare sector and gain valuable exposure to both clinical and political aspects of rural health. It is also a great opportunity for networking with future colleagues.

Student Registration
Are you a medical student that would like to attend the RDAQ conference?
Attending RDAQ conference is a fantastic opportunity for you to gain further insight into rural health policy and improve your knowledge of rural health issues. You also have the valuable opportunity to improve your skills, network with your future colleagues and broaden your knowledge of emerging ideas and technology.
Student delegate registration is organised by the Rural Health Club at your university. Attending as a medical student is a great opportunity because the clubs are able to subsidise some of the cost associated with attendance. If you are a member of your Rural Health Club you will receive an email in the beginning of the year calling for applications.
If you would like to attend independently or are studying interstate, please contact the conference managers on 07 3105 7838 for a registration form. Please note there are limited individual student places available.
