2018 Family Program
This year’s QRMFN Family Program provides a range of activities for rural spouses, partners and children, with many opportunities to catch up with old friends and new. QRMFN has planned a number of exciting activities to suit everyone. QRMFN is funded by Health Workforce Queensland.

|Friday 8 June 2017|
|9:30-13:00||Children’s workshop ** – BCEC||QRMFN lunch and AGM – BCEC|
|Relax and enjoy the company of other rural medical spouses and partners while discovering more about QRMFN and contribute to our future to follow from directions.|
|17:00-21:30||Friday night social – Rydges South Bank|
|Our Friday night social is family friendly with karaoke for the young and some fun arcade games. Come in fancy dress and join us on a groovy walk back in time. Take your inspiration from Woodstock, Apollo 11, Abbey Road, Sesame Street or many other world changing events of 1969.|
|Saturday 9 June 2017|
Ride the Wheel of Brisbane and visit the child friendly cultural venues situated along the beautiful Brisbane River. Southbank is short walking distance from BCEC.

|Queensland Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA), Queensland Museum or State Library. Offering unique cultural experiences for spouses who are attending without children. Both options are in walking distance of the venue and free entry.|

** denotes adjunct care arrangements for children through local nanny service. All other activities parental/guardian supervision is required.
The QRMFN program is subject to change.
Spouse networking registration inclusions:
- Complimentary attendance at the conference official opening and key note address.
- Welcome reception supper and drinks package.
- Friday night social ticket (including dinner – cash bar available).
- Conference gala dinner and awards ticket (Including pre-dinner drinks, dinner and drinks package)
All other spouse, partner and children’s activities outlined in the QRMFN program are sponsored by QRMFN as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting rural medical families. These activities are free for spouse/partners, and children under the age of 16, some activities may have charges for children aged 16 and over and additional adults accompanying the family.
NB. The spouse networking registration fee does not include attendance at all RDAQ Conference sessions. Spouses who are also medical practitioners wishing to attend all RDAQ Conference sessions are required to pay the full RDAQ delegate registration fee. Associate membership is an option to spouses who are not medical practitioners offering significant discounts.
